Bonding Between Salman Khan and Ram Charan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who is shooting for ” Mental” in Hyderabad, paid a visit to the sets of upcoming Telugu action-drama “Yevadu”. He bonded with the film’s lead actor Ram Charan Teja and even appreciated some of his dance moves.

Salman visited the sets Tuesday.

“Salman and Charan spent quality time on the sets. The team was giving final touches to a song featuring Ram. When Salman saw Charan dancing, he was awestruck. He personally appreciated him for his dance moves,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

It was not long ago that Ram Charan took home-cooked food for Salman.

“Ram visited the sets of ‘Mental’ a few days back with home-cooked food for Salman. When Ram was shooting for ‘Zanjeer’ in Mumbai, Salman did the same,” the source added.

Salman has been shooting in the city for “Mental”, which is a Hindi remake of Telugu film “Stalin” featuring Chiranjeevi.

Oh Sweet Lorraine – Fred Stobaugh, A New YouTube Sensation

Fred Stobaugh, a 96-year-old man from Peoria, Illinois has quickly become the latest viral video sensation.

Stobaugh entered a singer-songwriter competition hosted this summer by a local recording studio, Green Shoe Studio. Although entries were supposed to be uploaded to YouTube for submission, Stobaugh read about the contest in the newspaper and went the old-fashioned route and mailed in a hand-written copy of a song he wrote in dedication to his wife of 72 years, Lorraine, who passed away in April.

“Oh sweet Lorraine, I wish we could do the good times all over again. Oh sweet Lorraine, life only goes around once but never again,” he wrote.

In the entry letter, which the studio detailed in a blog post on their website, Stobaugh explained that he wasn’t a musician and had only written two songs in his life.He added that he doesn’t sing because he “would scare people.”

While Stobaugh didn’t win the competition, he won the hearts of those running the contest and many, many Americans. The studio brought Stobaugh in to record his touching “Sweet Lorraine,” and the video and mini-documentary has attracted more than one million hits on YouTube and is available for purchase on iTunes.

“This video has spread like wildfire across the world. What a blessing it has been working with Fred,” the studio said on its website. “We love the joy in his eyes when he realizes people are loving his song and are touched by his and Lorraine’s love story.”

Stobaugh says he met Lorraine Pinquel in 1938 when she worked as a carhop at the A&W root beer stand in East Peoria. They dated for two years before marrying in 1940, but shortly before the pair’s wedding anniversary, Lorraine passed away at the age of 91.

“She was just the prettiest girl I ever saw,” Stobaugh says in the video. “Real timid-like…I fell in love with her right there.”

Diana – New Trailer That Reflects The Untold Story

In filming a biographical movie about a modern or historical figure, a director has the opportunity to present a new vantage point of the individual in question: to hone in on little known facts, showcase obscure life chapters, craft the “untold story,” as it were. Or, of course, they can just go for broke and recreate all of the spotlit stuff that made the person famous in the first place. The latter choice seems particularly off base in the Princess Diana biopic Diana, considering it was that very material that resulted in the Princess’ undoing, and then death, back in the late 1990s. The new trailer for the picture doesn’t seem to sink its teeth into Diana’s backstory or humanitarian work, but instead just focuses on the juicy stuff: her affair.

And while it would be dishonest to craft a movie about England’s Rose without discussing her untimely passing, making one that seems so vehemently focused on the high-profile romance between her and Dr. Hasnat Khan could tread the line of bad taste. The trailer seems to approach the story hungrily, with the same attitude that the paparazzi upheld in their upheaval of the Princess’ secret in the first place. Of course, we’ll have to see how exactly the film itself handles the delicate material — at least it has Naomi Watts going for it.

John Francis – In Jail

“Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis was sentenced Tuesday to 270 days in jail and three years’ probation for choking a woman and repeatedly slamming her head to the ground at his Los Angeles mansion in 2011.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Nancy L. Newman also ordered the 40-year-old Francis to complete an anger management course and attend 52 sessions of psychological counseling, according to Deputy City Attorney Mitchell Fox.

A jury in May convicted Francis of five misdemeanor charges — three counts of false imprisonment, one count of assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury, and one count of dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.

Francis’ attorney Steve Levine said key details of the case were proven to be false in court, and he is appealing the decision.

“Joe has always maintained his innocence,” Levine said. He added that the judge “still came to a very fair and measured decision.”

According to Fox, Francis met three women on Jan. 29, 2011, at a college graduation party at the Supper Club in Hollywood. He grabbed the arm of one of the girls and took her to his limo, and the two others followed, believing they’d be taken to their car. Instead, they ended up in a gated area of Francis’ Bel Air home.

Francis appeared to be interested in one of the women and tried to lead her away, but her friend pulled back, Fox said.

Francis then “jumped on the friend, took her to the ground, choked her, slammed her head against the ground, dragged her across the ground, and when she got back up, did it several more times,” Fox said.

He then apparently told the women they were trespassing and had to leave. The women said they were going to call the police, and Francis yelled to “go ahead and call the police,” the prosecutor said.

Francis told the girls he “owns the police” and that officers wouldn’t arrest him, Fox added.

Judge Newman denied Francis’ request for a new trial Tuesday, but sentenced him to less than the four years in county jail urged by prosecutors.

Levine said Francis would be released from custody soon after posting a $250,000 bond Tuesday. He’ll remain free pending the outcome of the appeal.

The day after Francis was convicted in Los Angeles, he told The Hollywood Reporter that members of the jury were “retarded,” and said “they should all be lined up and shot.”

Francis later apologized for his comments.

“This is one of those cases where being a celebrity did not help him at all,” Levine said.

Francis has had a number of past legal troubles. Last year, a jury found him guilty of defaming casino mogul Steve Wynn on multiple occasions, including on ABC’s national morning show. Francis claimed the creator of some of Las Vegas’ most upscale resorts threatened to kill him over a gambling debt.

Dozens of other lawsuits have targeted Francis, who built a porn empire producing and marketing videos of young women exposing themselves on camera.

The new trailer of ANil Kapoor’s debut show 24 is out and we are excited to see the actor in action avatar after a long time.

The desi version of American series 24 stars Anil Kapoor in the lead. Going by the trailer, wethinks the talented actor would do justice playing ATU Chief Jai Singh Rathod. 24 also stars Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Mandira Bedi, Tisca Chopra and Rahul Khanna. With such an amazing star cast, our expectations from the series are sky high. While the new trailer doesn’t give away much, the sharp cuts and edits will surely arouse curiosity in you. Besides Anil, the other star who grabbed our attention in the trailer was Mandira Bedi. It’s a delight to see her back in a full-fledged role on the small screen and she has got it bang on as the government agent in this action-drama soap.

This is the first time in the history of Indian television that a show has been promoted by unveiling the poster and a trailer. Also, it’s the first time an established actor is working in a TV show. After seeing the racy first trailer, we think this multi-starrer show will be a big hit on the small screen, at least we hope so.
